Water-based Coating
Efforts Geared towards the Reduction of VOC (volatile organic compound) and CO2 Researched and developed since 1970, water-based coating decreases the consumption of fossil resources and reduces CO2 emissions. Toyo Seikan employs water-based coating to 80% of coating materials resulting in 52% reductions in CO2.
Reprocessed Used Material Products
Recycled PET resin is used to make handles for kitchen detergent bottles and big-size bottles.
In addition, bands for packing are also made from recycled materials.
