Focusing on Environment and Society (CSR)

PET Laminated Can

Reduction of VOC (volatile organic compound) and CO2 The environment friendly coating technology is now through "adhering" rather than "painting". Instead of "applying" paint, plastic film is "adhered" to the can body to protect the contents. The elimination of solvent decreases the environmental impacts during the curing process

Water-based Coating

Efforts Geared towards the Reduction of VOC (volatile organic compound) and CO2 Researched and developed since 1970, water-based coating decreases the consumption of fossil resources and reduces CO2 emissions. Toyo Seikan employs water-based coating to 80% of coating materials resulting in 52% reductions in CO2.

Reprocessed Used Material Products
