Important information regarding our handling of personal information

As a manufacturer of packaging, Toyo Seikan Kaisha, Ltd. We use your personal information for the following purposes:

(1) Personal Information of Customers

(Subject information)
The customers who access to our website and send an inquiry relating to the business of the Company and the Company's group companies or their products.

The customers who fill out questionnaires or submit a business card at our exhibition booth.

(Purpose)
To conduct marketing activities and provide products & services of the Company and its group companies.

(2) Personal information of customers' directors and employees

(Subject information)
Directors , auditors, and staff i.e. full-time employee of companies that provide services and sell the Company's products on behalf of the Company.

(Purpose)
To contact for business purposes, introduce the Company and its group companies' products & services, and provide information and conduct marketing activities.

(3) Personal information of suppliers' executive directors and staff

(Subject information)
Executive directors, auditors, staff, i.e. full-time employees, of companies that accept contract manufacturing, provide outsourcing, and have procurement transactions with the Company.

(Purpose)
To contact for business purposes.

(4) Personal information of shareholders

(Subject information)
Independent stockholders, stockholders receiving stocks as collateral, and company-employed shareholders.

(Purpose)

  • 1. To fulfill the obligations and exercise of rights under the Commercial Code.
  • 2. To provide various advantages to shareholders.
  • 3. To implement a range of measures to facilitate a relationship between the Company and shareholders.
  • 4. To manage the data of shareholders by given standards based on the law.
(5) Personal information of the Company's employees

(Subject information)
The Company's regular employees, contract based staff, probationary contract based staff, contract based workers, part-time staff & workers, executive directors, internal auditors, executive advisors, temporary staff from an agency, and former employees and their relatives.

(Purpose)

  • 1. To conduct employee evaluation, make a decision for personnel reshuffle, and manage human resources.
  • 2. To provide benefits, perform procedures involving tax, social insurance, and health insurance, and manage labor.
  • 3. To complete the paperwork for pension
  • 4. To contact for business purposes in an emergency, i.e. natural disaster..
  • 5. To promote and facilitate communication between current workers of the Company and retired employees
(6) Personal data of applicants for employment

Applicants who applied for a job at the Company
(Including those who were rejected)

(Purpose)
To perform procedures for recruitment and after joining the Company. However, the personal information of candidates who are hired will be treated as personal information of the Company's employees.

3. Joint use of personal information

(1) The Company and its group companies jointly use customer names, company names, and department and contact information in order to conduct marketing activities and to introduce their products & services and other information.

(2) Regarding the joint use of personal information, when the Company is requested for disclosure and receives a complaint from its customers, the Company has the right to disclose, correct, and suspend the use of personal information, and shall take the responsibilities for personal information management.
