Plate-Making Design (Distortion Printing)

• 1. "Distortion Printing" is a technology to print the artwork images before can forming.
• 2. Before forming (drawing and molding) a metal sheet into cans, distorted images are printed in a circular pattern on it so to compensate for the level of distortion caused by the forming process. This allows for distortion-free images to emerge on the can bodies after forming (drawing and molding).
• 3. Applicable to DR cans.
