Decoration (Form)
Pascal Processing
Using Pascal's principle, a method for shaping metal cans into custom-designed forms was developed.
- 1. Rounded and smooth curved surfaces can be achieved.
- 2. Possible to transform the entire body into a partially concave and convex design.
- 3. Accommodates production in small lots and has a short delivery time.
- 4. Applicable to welded cans.

Molding Process of Pascal Cans

The exterior mold (dictating the resulting form of the can) is placed along the outside of the can and the inner die is placed inside. Water pressure is then applied from within the inner die to form the can body walls to the curvature structure of the exterior mold.
