Applying Pascal’s principle, we have developed a can forming method that allows a metal can to be shaped into various designs.
- Smooth, curved can body surface can be attained.
- Deformation of the entire can shape or partial convexo-concave pattern can be attained.
- This technology allows small-lot and short lead-time productions.
- Applicable to welded cans.
Forming process of Pascal Can
Set the external mold (which determines the can shape) against the can outside, insert the internal mold into the can, and inject water into the internal mold to transform the can body to the shape of external mold using water pressure.
